It seems ages since I've last written anything. I have been traveling and living life. My old car, which really wasn't all that old, finally upset me enough to get rid of it. I believe it was a lemon. So now I have a new car with hefty car payments, but at least it's running without any problems. Of course, now that I've written that, I've probably jinxed the car.
I spend my quiet moments thinking about my kids and whether or not I did an adequate job as a dad. I suppose it is only natural to wonder and I hope they remember the good times over the not so good times. They are established in their lives with careers and family. My youngest, Meghan, is getting married next month. I had dinner with her and Jonathan the other night and she mentioned that she has known him since 7th grade. Fate?
The grandkids are growing and enjoying the innocence of life.
I miss my siblings and hope all is well with them. I look forward to seeing everyone next month at the wedding.
As a final note, Ling (my other and certainly better half) is celebrating her birthday today. We will be going out for Tai food tonight and opening presents.
It looks like a beautiful day outside, so I think I will water the plants and then go golfing. I am below the Beginner Level, but hope to inch my way up as soon as I can hit the ball consistently...and I'm talking just at the driving range! Golf courses are so beautiful and I really enjoy being out, chasing that elusive little ball.
Until next time...
